We are working with the Veterans Affairs Pittsburgh Healthcare System to conduct a research study to better understand the relationship between thinking, brain structure and function, and genetic factors among Veterans with psychotic disorders.
Eligible Veterans will complete questionnaires, undergo MRI, cognitive testing and provide blood samples. Participants will be compensated for their time!
Participants must be:
• Between the ages of 18 and 45 years.
• Receive care through the VA, or otherwise have their primary care physician (PCP) office at the VA.
Veterans with psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia are encouraged to participate, and we are also enrolling veterans without a history of mental illness.
